Do we have to leave PropData?
No. Rento connects with your own PropData credentials and brings your residential listings across. Keep your feed where it is and add rento on top.
Who pays for tenant verification?
The applicant. Verification is a tenant-side product (R99 or R249 once-off), so the checks that protect your landlords never come out of your commission.
Are the e-signatures legally valid?
Yes for ordinary residential leases. Under ECTA a standard electronic signature plus an audit record is sufficient, and rento seals an OTP-verified signature and a chained audit trail into every signed PDF.
What does the trial include?
The full platform for two months: unlimited listings, the verified tenant pool, lease signing and your chosen number of seats. No card is needed to start.
Why do you ask for our FFC and CIPC documents?
Agencies on rento carry a verified badge that tenants and landlords can trust. We check that every agency is a registered, compliant practitioner before we show it.
Can our landlords use rento too?
Yes. Landlords you manage are covered by your agency subscription. Landlords who run their own properties can subscribe separately at R299 per month.
